Barbican 'gearing up for international search marketing event'

The latest challenges faced by companies looking to adopt search engine marketing strategies will be addressed at the nternational Search Summit at the Barbican theatre in London next year.

Focusing specifically on international and multilingual search engine marketing, the event will be held on May 13th and feature the leading experts in the field and provide delegates with tips for carrying out their own search engine optimisation (SEO) campaigns.

Organiser Web Certain said the well-established and authoritative industry event is now in its third year.

Representative for the group Andy Atkins-Kruger commented: "We will continue to cover the most up-to-date topics and trends to help delegates tackle the challenges of international SEO, pay-per-click (PPC) and social media."

Previous speakers at the event have included Peter Maxmin, director of search at Bing, global search thought leader Bill Hunt and Bas van den Beld of SearchCowboys.com.

This week, online marketing experts Michael Gray and Christine Churchill told WebProNews that using a mixture of SEO and PPC strategies may be the best way to maximise the popularity of new websites.
